Nanakmatta is the place which was visited by Gurunanak Dev Ji twice, Guru Hargovind Sahib ji, Baba Almast ji reside here. That is why in
Nanakmatta Sahib there are different Gurudwaras which are of historical importance such as:
- Main Gurudwara: This Gurudwara is
nearly 700 Mtrs from the main Kichha - Khatima Road. This is made in the memory of Sri Guru Nanak
Dev Ji. The campus of the main Gurudwara comprises historical Pipal
tree , Gurudwara 6th Patshahi, and holy Sarovar.
- Gurudwara Bhandara Sahib: This Gurudwara is nearly 400 Mtrs away from Main Gurudwara campus.
Here variety of foods
fell down from the branches of a banyan tree and satisfied the hunger of Bhai Mardana .
- Gurudwara Doodh Wala Kuan:: This Gurudwara is nearly 300 Mtrs away from Main Gurudwara
campus.Here is a historical well. By virtue of his spiritual powers,
Guru Sahib drew all the milk from the cows of the yogis and stored it
in a well which is called Doodh Wala Kuan.
- Gurudwara Baba Almast Sahib:
This Gurudwara is constructed in the memory of Baba Almast Sahib ji,
who had been expelled from his shrine by the Jogis. He called
Guru Hargobind Sahib ji who came here and set up a Sikh
service organization under the guidance of Baba Almast Sahib Ji.
- Gurudwara 6th Patshahi:
It is situated, about one and a half kms from main Gurudwara. It is
associated with the Sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib ji who visited
this place on his way to Pilibhit.
