The main task of GPC, Nanakmatta sahib is to manage all routine and additional activities of Gurudwara Sahib. In addition GPC also manages the properties
possessed by the Gurudwara Sahib. This includes:
Management of activities related to Gurudwara Sahib: The primary objective of the GPC, Nanakmattasahib is to manage the day to day activities
of Gurudwara Sahib. The different Sevadar have been appointed to perform different tasks like Guardening of the Gurudwara Sahib, Akhand Path, Kirtan, Joda Ghar, Parking of Vehicles, Prasad preparation and
distribution, Langar Sahib, Sarai etc.
Farm Management : The Gurudwara Sahib has four farms of nearly 600 Acers. These farms produce different crops, fruits and are under the managemnt of GPC, Nanakmatta Sahib.
For each farm a Farm Manager is appointed who in turn appoints the assistent- manager, workers on daily / monthly wadges to perform the different day to day activities in the farm.
All crops produced in these farms are primarily utilised for the purpose of the Langar. The un-utilised crop is sold in the market and the fund thus received is utilized in the
fulfilment of the objectived of GPC , Nanakmatta Sahib.
